Families design their own program, based on each child's individual needs.
Our goal is to ignite the love of learning and keep it alive by offering a wide range of academic and enrichment classes that are engaging and real. Some students take only one or two classes per week while others attend all four days. LOL offers a wide range of academic and enrichment classes that encourage students age 6-18 to become involved in the process of their own education.
Outside Work Expectations (Homework)
Teachers assign relevant outside-of-class assignments to provide students with a depth of knowledge not possible thorough in-class work alone. Completion of these assignments is integral to success in the class. We ask students and parents to take the responsibility for making sure this work is completed. Homework expectations can be adjusted to the meet the individual abilities of each of our students. We ask that each student work to the best of his/her potential. Homework in our academic classes must be completed to remain in the class. Please make sure you and your child are willing to make the time commitment specified in each class description.
Many of our "enrichment" classes require little or no outside work. For these classes, any outside work is optional.
Outside-of-class work expectations are defined below:
• Minimal ~0-1 hours/week
• Moderate ~1-2 hours/week
• Significant ~3+ hours/week
